Upside Down Helicopter Rhino Ride
To save them from poachers, local WWF activists in conjunction with local South African governments, have found the most efficient and harmless way to transport endangered rhinos to safer grounds: sedate and blindfold them before hanging them upside down from a helicopter. The entire ride only takes about 10 minutes and is actually much easier on the rhino, which would typically be suspended in a net or transported in a crate over uneven terrain.
