Floating Symmetrical Temple by Takahiro Iwasaki

Made from traditional cypress, Takahiro reconstructed the Byōdō-in, a 10th century Buddhist temple in Kyoto, as if reflected by an intangible mirror, floating serenely amongst the ether. Showing at The 7th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art in Queensland, Australia through April 14th, 2013.
