Birth of a Bottle
At the “Ekran” Factory in Novosibirsk, Russia, bottles are glass-blown and forged from the fiery pits of Mordor, or at least it certainly looks the part. The factory originally made its wealth in 1954 as a maker of optoelectronic devices and cathode-ray tubes for television sets. But by 1994 the mass production of TV equipment ended in Mother Russia and the factory shifted to glass bottle production. A perfect place to get a hot drink or end the life of a Terminator!
