Based on photographs of actual rotting carcasses of once thriving structures, which are then used to create small scale models. You can check out the rest of the series at Lapid’s website. Having grown up in Ohio, I’m very familiar with seeing old, decaying barns and homes that have been neglected and left to the ravages of nature. I always wanted to go inside but I’m deathly afraid of whatever ghosts or giant spiders might now be inhabiting them.
