Marvel Superheroes Dream Team by Alex Tuis

Who among us hasn’t contemplated the tantalizing thought of assembling your own dream casting for your favorite fandom? Personally, I think Nathan Fillon should play everything ever, including the stage sets, props, and furniture, but if you’re gonna dream big like that, you might want to have some concept designs to back your vision up. Alex did just that so yes, let’s get Hologram Bruce Lee as Spider-Man before I have start making crazy demands.

Bruce Lee by Jim Hseih
A combination of photoshop with watercolors, this piece by Hseih was for the Bruce Lee Tribute art show at gallerynucleus a few years ago and invokes Lee’s famous quote: ”Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend”.

Old Man Lee by Vick Vega
Artists’ comments: “Bruce Lee is someone I greatly admired growing up. Just becuase of his martial arts background but his athletic ability. He’s the reason I got into fitness. Most people know about his one finger push-ups and one inch punch. But he could curl 3 sets of 10, 80lb dumb bells. This was a 145 pound man mind you. Now, that’s pretty damn strong”.
